Game Rules
Welcome to Pixel Worlds
Pixel Worlds is built around its players. We want everyone to be able to play, trade, build and compete in a fair and safe environment.
These rules apply to everyone who plays Pixel Worlds. They also apply to activity outside the game when it directly relates to Pixel Worlds, such as arranging prohibited trades or promoting cheats.
These rules cannot cover every possible situation. Attempting to find a technicality or loophole does not make behaviour acceptable. If something clearly gives an unfair advantage, harms other players or the game, or helps someone else break the rules, don't do it.
Where these rules apply
Please familiarise yourself with these rules and help us keep your contribution to the Pixel Worlds community a positive one.
These rules apply not only within the game, but also across official Pixel Worlds and Social First community channels. Some rules may also apply to activity on third-party platforms where that activity directly relates to Pixel Worlds - for example, Real Money Trading, promoting cheats, targeted harassment or sharing another person's private information.
These rules may be updated from time to time as Pixel Worlds and its community evolve. Players are responsible for familiarising themselves with the current rules.
1. Play fairly
Do not cheat or use anything that gives you an unfair or unintended advantage.
This includes:
Bots, macros or other forms of automation.
Cheats, hacks, modified clients or unauthorised third-party software.
Hardware or software used to automate gameplay.
Exploiting bugs or unintended game mechanics for personal gain.
Duplicating items or currencies.
Intentionally causing lag, crashes, disconnections or other disruption.
Attempting, assisting or encouraging any of the above.
Finding a bug is not against the rules. Knowingly exploiting it is.
If you discover a serious exploit, stop using it and report it to Pixel Worlds Support or one of our moderators in-game. Players who deliberately continue to exploit or distribute information about serious exploits may have their accounts permanently banned.
2. No Real Money Trading (RMT)
Real Money Trading is strictly prohibited.
Pixel Worlds accounts, items, currencies, worlds, names, services, progression or anything else associated with Pixel Worlds must not be bought, sold or exchanged for real-world value.
This includes exchanging Pixel Worlds content for:
Real money.
Cryptocurrency.
Gift cards.
Products or services.
Items or currencies from another game.
Accounts or digital goods.
Anything else with real-world value.
You must not advertise, arrange, facilitate or act as a middleman for RMT.
This rule applies both inside and outside Pixel Worlds, including websites, marketplaces, Discord servers and social media.
Accounts involved in RMT may be permanently banned and items or currencies connected to RMT may be removed.
3. No gambling
Do not organise, advertise, facilitate or participate in gambling or item-risking games of chance.
This includes casinos, drop games, bets and other systems where players risk items or currency on an uncertain outcome.
This also applies to external websites or services involving Pixel Worlds items or currencies.
4. No scamming or deceptive trading
Do not deliberately deceive another player to obtain their items, currency, account or other property.
This includes:
Trust scams.
Fake giveaways.
Misrepresenting a trade.
Phishing.
Deceptive links.
Impersonating another person to obtain items.
Coordinating with others to scam players.
Players are responsible for checking a trade before accepting it. A trade you later regret, or where you paid more than you intended, is not automatically a scam. Social First, its staff, and moderators will not participate in any trading activities, nor act as intermediaries or facilitators in any transactions. All trades are conducted solely between the players involved, at their own discretion and risk.
5. Keep your account secure
Do not sell, buy, share, lend or transfer accounts.
Never give another player your password or login information. Pixel Worlds staff will never ask you for your password.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Giving another person access to your account does not excuse rule-breaking carried out through it.
6. Don't knowingly benefit from rule-breaking
Do not knowingly receive, store, move, hide or trade items or currencies obtained through:
RMT.
Botting.
Exploits or duplication.
Scamming.
Gambling.
Account theft.
Other serious rule-breaking.
Helping another player conceal or move illicit items is also a violation.
Items or currencies connected to rule-breaking may be removed even when they have moved between accounts.
7. Don't evade enforcement
If we restrict an account or feature, do not use another account to circumvent that restriction unless Pixel Worlds explicitly allows you to start again.
Where players are permitted to create a new account following a ban, the new account is a fresh start. The original account remains banned and its items, currency and progress will not be transferred.
Further rule-breaking may result in additional accounts being restricted.
8. Protect other player's accounts and information
Do not attempt to obtain another player's password, login information or private information.
Do not hack, phish, compromise or attempt to gain unauthorised access to another player's account.
Do not share another person's private or identifying information without permission.
9. Don't manipulate the game or economy through prohibited methods
Trading, investing, collecting and negotiating prices are normal parts of Pixel Worlds.
However, you must not manipulate game systems, rewards, rankings or the economy through exploits, automation, fraudulent transactions, coordinated abuse or other prohibited methods.
10. No inappropriate content
Do not create or share sexual, pornographic or otherwise explicitly inappropriate content.
This applies to chat, usernames, world names, clan names, signs, builds, pixel art, item arrangements and other player-created content.
Content involving the sexual exploitation of minors is strictly prohibited.
11. Don't impersonate others
Do not impersonate Pixel Worlds staff, moderators, admins or other players in order to deceive people.
Do not deliberately present false information as an official Pixel Worlds announcement or communication.
Parody and jokes are fine when they are clearly jokes and aren't being used to deceive others.
12. Don't promote prohibited services
Do not advertise or promote:
RMT services.
Gambling involving Pixel Worlds.
Cheats, hacks, bots or exploits.
Account selling.
Phishing.
Malware.
Private servers or unauthorised versions of Pixel Worlds.
13. Don't help others break the rules
Helping someone break these rules can be treated the same as breaking them yourself.
This includes providing accounts, acting as a middleman, storing illicit items, advertising prohibited services, helping someone evade enforcement or otherwise knowingly facilitating rule-breaking.
14. Follow staff instructions
Follow reasonable instructions given by authorised Pixel Worlds staff and moderators.
Do not deliberately interfere with an investigation, falsify evidence or knowingly provide false information in an attempt to evade enforcement.
Staff and moderators are also expected to follow the rules.
